Terms of Service
Last updated August 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of Plane Simple Schedule, the scheduling and account-management software operated by Monroe Aviation & Canton Horizon Flight School (“the flight school”). By using the application you agree to them.
What this software is
Plane Simple Schedule is an administrative tool. It records reservations, training progress, maintenance status, and billing. It is not an aviation safety system, a dispatch authority, a flight-planning tool, or a source of official aircraft airworthiness status.
Accounts
Accounts are issued by the flight school or created by request and approved by staff. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account, for keeping your password and any sign-off PIN confidential, and for activity that occurs under your login. Do not share your credentials or your private calendar subscription link. Tell the flight school immediately if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
Some accounts belong to student pilots under 18. Those accounts are established with the involvement of a parent or guardian and the flight school.
Reservations, cancellations, and no-shows
Booking an aircraft or an instructor through this software reserves that time subject to the flight school's operating policies. Cancellation notice requirements, cancellation fees, and no-show charges are set by the flight school and may be applied to your account. The schedule shown in this application is the authoritative record of what is booked.
The flight school may cancel, move, or reassign any reservation for operational reasons, including maintenance, weather, instructor availability, and safety of flight.
Billing
Charges are billed to your account as flights are completed and as products or services are provided. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; card details are handled by that processor and are not stored on our servers. You are responsible for the balance on your account. The flight school may decline to dispatch an aircraft to an account in arrears.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, raise it with the flight school. Disputes are resolved against the flight school's records of flights flown and services rendered.
Safety of flight — read this
Nothing in this software relieves the pilot in command of any responsibility.
Aircraft status, maintenance reminders, squawk records, currency indicators, endorsement records, and weather information shown here are administrative conveniences that may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. They are not a determination of airworthiness and are not a substitute for the preflight inspection, the aircraft's logbooks and maintenance records, official weather briefings, NOTAMs, or the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.
The pilot in command is solely responsible for determining that the aircraft is airworthy, that the flight can be conducted safely and legally, and that all required inspections, endorsements, and currency requirements are met — regardless of what this application displays.
Acceptable use
- Use the application only for the flight school's legitimate business.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, records, or data belonging to others.
- Do not probe, scan, or attempt to defeat the application's security or access controls.
- Do not upload content you have no right to upload, or falsify any record, document, or endorsement.
- Do not use automated means to extract data from the application.
Falsifying training records, flight times, or endorsements is a serious matter with consequences beyond your account, and will be treated accordingly.
Your content
You keep ownership of documents and information you upload. You grant the flight school permission to store and use them for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy — verifying eligibility, maintaining training records, and operating the school. Training records, endorsements, and billing history created in the course of your training are business and regulatory records of the flight school and are retained accordingly.
Availability
The application is provided as-is and as-available. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because of failures in hosting, network, or third-party services. The flight school does not guarantee uninterrupted access, and operations continue by other means when it is down. Optional integrations — such as calendar synchronization — depend on external services and may stop working without notice.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the software is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The flight school is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the application, including lost flight time, missed reservations, or scheduling errors.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing here alters the flight school's obligations to you under any separate training, rental, or membership agreement you have signed. Where those agreements and these terms conflict, the signed agreement governs.
Suspension and termination
The flight school may suspend or close an account at any time, including for non-payment, for conduct that compromises safety, or for violation of these terms. You may request that your account be closed. Records the flight school is required to retain will be retained.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and communicated to account holders. Continuing to use the application after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions about these terms should be directed to the flight school using the contact details on your account.
